About Us

Ink Oasis is a club founded by Jennifer Fan at Phillips Academy. It
aims to combine the beauty of Chinese Art with Phillips Academy's
"non-sibi" spirit of community service. During club meetings, Ink
Oasis members learn to paint in different styles of Chinese art, and
their finished works would be sold to raise money to build a medical
clinic in Ningxia, China.

In the past, we have held Chinese Painting exhibitions at the
Memorial Hall Library in downtown Andover and in the Oliver Wendell
Holmes Library. We have also held various art shows and open
classes at Starbucks an at the Memorial Hall Library.
